An exciting new plant show that focuses on
urban gardening and houseplants.

Coming to Depot Mayfield, Manchester this April.

April 2024 will see a brand new flower show coming to Manchester. A departure from the traditional RHS show, it will be housed entirely indoors in the vast industrial space of a former railway.

It’s an opportunity to focus on the growing movement of urban and city gardeners, and the increasing connection between horticulture, wellbeing and sustainable living.

83% of the UK currently lives in urban spaces, and that figure is expected to rise to 86% by 2030. At the same time, the planet is warming. As well as the environmental impact in urban spaces, there is also the positive effect being close to nature has on our mental and physical wellbeing.

“Gardening is the purest of pleasures”

At Mad About Land, we’re passionate about biodiversity, the soil, and the healing properties of working with the land and caring for our planet. Gardening is the purest of pleasures; a good day is muddy fingers, and a great day is muddy knees. Whether you have a window box buzzing with bees, a few pots on the balcony, or a garden brimming with flowers, the joy of gardening should be available to all.

Come and see us at the RHS Urban Show, from 18–21 April, to learn more about our blossoming partnership. For more information and ticket sale information, visit the RHS website below.
